Applications are accepted at the training center between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Bring a certified, original transcript from your high school or college and a valid driver’s license to show proof you meet the minimum qualifications for the scholarship.

Qualifications for Apprenticeship Scholarship
At least 17 years of age to apply
At least 18 years of age to begin program
High school diploma or GED
Completion of one full year of high school level Algebra I with a passing grade
Valid state driver's license

This is a paid, on-the-job training program. You will receive 8,000 hours of verified training with a licensed Journeyman Wireman for a union signatory contractor and 900 hours of classroom time.
This is a scholarship program, so there is no tuition, however, you must be selected for the program and you must go through a selection process that includes an Aptitude test and an oral interview with the JATC Committee.
